G4/466 upgrade card

A g4/466 will run like a g3 of the same speed mostly except for a few apps that use its altivec features. $76 seems a little high to me, but I havn't been pricing them at all. Some upgrades command a higher price then they are worth (as in you can get a faster machine for the same money as upgrading a slower one).

Posted by: Bunsen on 2008-04-23 05:09:34 $76 is a little high for what they're worth, but plenty low for what they usually go for. I've got my eye on a couple of them myself. The iMac G3 CPU modules are not compatible with the Wallstreet, and vice versa. Dunno why, they're just not.
