I talked to a guy over at the german macuser.de forums and he wanted to give me a quadra 950 for 25 shipped. he said the quadra is stored at a warehouse of a friend of him. therefore he didnt know any specs (what is really really ok for 25 bucks shipped 😉 )
so I did transfer the 25€ into his bank account. he emailed me that he got the money and is going to pick up the Q950 the next week.
today i got another mail from him. he told me that he did call his friend at the warehouse to get his pallet with his macs out. thats what the guys at the warehouse did... they got the pallet out from between the other stuff stored there. the next day he was going to pick the macs up and ship them.
problem is: the macs got STOLEN!! over night. :O
he said im getting my money back - no question... but wtf why is someone stealing old macs like these? oO
lets get the army together and get the thieves!

Could be somebody junked them by mistake a while ago and didn't want to say anything figuring the guy forgot all about them.
Or maybe he started looking at what they go for on ebay and had second thaughts of giving the 950 away.
