| Looking for Dragon Warrior game on the Mac |

I remember playing it on the same computer as Taskmaker. It had NES style graphics, and I encountered a dragon VERY early on.

Well, "Dragon Warrior" was a NES game that was later ported to a few other consoles, but never to PC or Mac. It's probable that you are thinking of a different game, and nobody can think of what game you ARE thinking of.
You may want to have a peek around on The Macintosh Garden, a haven of abandonware Mac games.

Could it be that someone just had an NES emulator running the NES version of Dragon Warrior? I have never seen a Mac game that would be easily mistaken for Dragon Warrior.
