Sleep LED blinking rates
Posted by: MultiFinder on 2008-04-05 13:14:21
I was having trouble sleeping last night, so I lay there and watched the sleep LEDs blink on my two PowerBooks. I noticed that the Duo 2300c blinks exactly 2x as fast as the 540c. I thought this was interesting enough to warrant some questions to people with more PowerBooks and a forum post 🙂

So, anybody willing to time the blinking rates of their PowerBooks and post 'em?

540c clocks in at 2 spb (seconds per blink 😉 )

Duo 2300c is in at 1 spb.

Strangely I was thinking about the same thing a couple of nights ago.

Here are my observations:

520c : 2 seconds per blink

1400c : 1 spb

3400c : 1 spb

I do have a Duo 2300c as well but I assume it will be the same as yours.

Hmmmm, starting to look like:

68k=2spb

PPC=1spb

We need more data. Come help us!

Well, my 520 is sitting here and if you look past all the crap piled on it, it also appears to be 2spb. The iBook just kinda does its breathing thing, so I dunno.
