Surprising Find in Old Disk Box
Posted by: Scott Baret on 2008-04-05 10:39:17
I was going through this box of system floppies today (the second part of the box I got earlier this week with the 800K 7.1 floppies inside) and found...

...

......

........

..........

(yes, let's build some suspense)

...............................

A HD20 FLOPPY!!!!!!

There was also a set of 6.0.4 in there and a few other sets of system 6 and 7 plus some guided tours (SE and II) and some drivers, etc. Also a nice copy of Print Shop Deluxe, even has the graphics folio guide with it.

Hrm, I'd be interested in a disk image of that HD20 floppy. I can't get my HD20 to format properly with any tools I have... (Of course, it could just be that my HD20 is dead...)

you can get HD20 startup image here

http://homepage.mac.com/chinesemac/earlymacs/disk_images.html

anyway I had the same problem with HD20, even if I deleted files or format the HD it behaved like it was locked and could not delet or copy any data ...
