Originaly I posted a bid on the auction as I wanted an extra PowerBook bag, I did not pay attention to the fact that it came with a nice PowerBook 180c in good condition, fired straight up!

I'm off cleaning now 😛

Not bad, over the PB series (including the G3 and Wallstreet) the 1xx series was my favorite. I had a PB 170 that I absolutely adhored. Best machine I have EVER used. And I <3 the trackballs on it.

I had one until it took a dive from the counter-tops when my dog grabbed the laptop bag's carrying strap and pulled it off. I couldn't find a new screen at the time since we didn't have the internet, so no net=no ebay.

Oh well, and 'grats on the find!

You'll love it, they're a great machine, especially if they're in good condition 😀

adhored.
Interesting. A cross between "adored" and "abhorred". So you had a love/hate relationship with this machine?

Yeah I think this is a good move for me, space wise. I have sold most of my desktop machines and moved into PowerBooks, takes less space!

Right now got my PB100 as it's the oldest/smallest, then a 540c as it was the most powerful non PPC, a 2300c as it's the thinnest and now the 180c as it's the nicest colour model for that form factor.

Btw, I want to get rid of the pb100, 140, 170 parts I have. Would like to swap for something, anyone interested? I'm in Richmond UK.
