2400c, iBooks, LCD, more...

So some of my latest conquests haven't really been terribly exciting, but I just scored another actual vintage Mac, so I thought I'd post.

2400c: Just won this guy on eBay for $50 plus $14 to ship - it includes battery, power adapter, and external SCSI CD & cables. Boots to :?: , so we will see how that goes.

iBooks: G3 clamshell with a defunct inverter, but I have a spare form a broken LCD. it was something like $25 or so.

G3 500MHz - $50, no keyboard, OS, or battery. Not tested yet. Just bought it because it was so cheap.

A couple G4 1.2 GHz machines - one was $175 with no OS, and works great. Sold it to my cousin as a complete machine - she loves it! Another identical unit on its way with a blocked power socket. My friend is going to buy it.

15" HP LCD: Sold with a bad backlight, but it seems to be working fine ATM. I plan on hooking it up to my server and using it as a test/spare display, as the server doesn't always need a display.

iMac G4: 15" 800MHz, works just fine. This guy was a local deal - $65. Gonna resell him.

Creative MP3 - bad battery, sold at CompUSA closing sale.

Samsung ML-2510 or something laser - works fine, from CompUSA, but missing manual-feed tray.

That about sums it up, as of right now I need to start selling other things in order to make room.

BTW - these conquests span from like January till now - it wasn't all at once 😉

Nice deals! I had no idea that G3 notebooks (repairable ones even) could be had for that much.

How much you want that iBook with my keyboard for?
