A fiend of mine had 2 512mb sticks of SDRAM that he couldnt get working in any laptop, i knew tht they'd work in the pismo, so he gave me them. I put them in, and sure enough, About This Mac says ive got a gigabyte of ram!!!

That's really nice, especially since obsolete types of RAM can be awfully expensive, especially the higher-capacity sticks.

awesome! I eventually want to get a gig going in my Pismo. those sticks are hard to come by an expensive when you do.

I have 6 sticks of 512MB PC133 laying around, unused.
They will stay that way until I can $100 a stick for them too.
