So, in summer 2004 i bought a Voodoo video card from a garage sale, along with driver CD. It's a Windows version card. I have absolutely no info about it, or what exact model is. I want to flash it for my 6400 and use it in there, but I'm worried about flashing the wrong driver, seeing as I don't know which model it is. Is there a way to figure out what model it is? Would the driver CD be of any help? How would I go about flashing this? Will I be able to use higher quality graphics (higher resolutions, thousands/millions of colors)?
Any help is appreciated! I'm lost!

Lots of info on Mac graphics cards (including the 3dfx Voodoo 1 thru 5) here http://www.xlr8yourmac.com/video.html
One quick check - if there's a male and female 15 pin connector on the card, then it's either a Voodoo 1 or Voodoo 2 card. In this case, no flashing is needed - PC and Macs use the same card.

The driver disk says Voodoo3 Version 1.3.
No, not a female connector, but there is a male connector on it, which is similar to that of the Apple TV Video card.

Back in the day I did testing on the Mac VooDoo3 beta drivers. Those were sweet for OpenGL. I have no clue where you can source flashing stuff today though - or the drivers!

I found a site that had the complete setup (forget what it was though), and i flashed it successfully. My computer seems to run a lot faster now!
