you can use a cf card as virtual ram which is faster then the stock hd or ide controller

Posted by: Bunsen on 2008-03-13 19:21:20 Yep - VM on CF is the only way. Once you have a PCMCIA (not Cardbus) CF sleeve, you only need a smallish CF card - 64MB would double your RAM for example. Format it as a Mac hard drive, then assign it to Virtual Memory.
