Working Duo Dock with a Duo 230
Posted by: Maconthemove on 2008-03-01 21:29:40
The Duo Dock is complete, even the key. The Duo 230 works perfect, except

the battery is dead. It has OS 7.6 on it. This is the first machine that I have seen it on. Paid $5.00 for both.

Spiffy. Mac OS 7.6 is pretty decent, although it can tax some of the lower '030s, especially if they're lacking in the RAM department.

My Dock Plus came with a key, which is often handy. I upgraded the hell out of it, too, with max'd VRAM and a 2GB hard drive. Make sure to stock lots of patience if you try to crack the Dock open, because it can be... unpleasant.

The docks are interesting. They take apart very easily. Did yours come with the FPU and extra vram? They are both nice to have. I hope your keyboard works better than mine! Nice find!

There is no FPU, ram or hd drive yet . There is a ethernet card installed.

The Duo has 12megs of ram.
