| Spin down hard drive in LC 475 |
Posted by: MacMan on 2008-02-29 14:16:03 Does ayone know of any utilities for System 7 that allow you to spin down a hard drive on a desktop 68K Mac? I would like to do this specifically with an LC 475.

It also has an option to park the heads when you shut down the computer (for REALLY old drives that won't do it themselves).

$25... seems a bit excessive considering, but I'm sure you could extend the evaluation period somehow.
FWIW, I tried it on my 475 and the screen saver did horrible things.
