Just got it up running OS 9.0. Need to get 9.2.2 on it. But it's great!!! The keyboard could be better though... then again, I am used to the macbook's 😛

I am going to try to get OS X 10.3 on it and see how it runs XD

One thing thats strange about those powerbooks is going from a 14" with 1024X768 to a 12" with that res.

10.3 didn't work out so great. Color issues, EVERYTHING was in blue or purple. so 10.2.8 it is!

it's going to be a simple machine. Light web-browsing, email. That's pretty much it

Thanks, but I am having a *wee* bit of trouble getting OS X 10.2 onto it. It doesn't seem to want to boot right after the first part of the install. It just gives me the circle with the strike through it. I am told it's bad discs, so I burned another set and hope it works.

Ok, I got the system into 10.3.5 . Now doing the update to 10.3.9. I had the video issue, but I solved it by removing the AtiRagoProGM.plugin so it works now 🙂 . it's an awesome little laptop and is quite snappy. Although the video leaves much to be desired, it still works good. it's a bit slow when it comes to drawing the screen, but that's fine, as I am not looking for high-end video quality. 4MB video only goes so far 😛

Anyways, I got the ioexperts wifi driver and installed it. I am going to register the card when I get the lombard I have my eyes on. So here's hoping It goes through and registers the card only!!! Maybe I can use the card one two laptops 😛

FYI, I am going to be buying the ioexperts driver so I can use the card in the lombard as well. It's great that it registers to the card and not the machine X^D
