I also have an Apple II HighSpeed SCSI Card lying around here, could I use an external HD or something with it and boot off of that? Or could I make a system disk with my IIGS?
Sorry if this doesn't make sense, I'm still like, half asleep

2. Yes, you can boot a IIe from SCSI. ProDOS is limited to 32MB partitions which is huge for an Apple II.
3. Yes, assuming that your IIgs is functional, it is a useful bridge to the IIe.
4. The Apple II FAQs are pretty good. It is unlikely that you will encounter a problem that is entirely new.
5. Good luck and enjoy.
