I bought a classic II off ebay last week and it should be here Wednesday!
Does anyone know where I can get some 4MB SIMMs for it?
I have a 68882 FPU that I might put in the thing too... :b&w:

Got one from an Xym reader/member. I only paid a few bucks too and I also got 2 full blown 040s. I might have another so I'll have to check...

If you see any really old PCs in the trash, you could try raiding them for SIMMs. I've scored loads of good 72 pin RAM that way, but 30 pin has been a bit rarer.

I have a 68882 FPU that I might put in the thing too... :b&w: Is it a Classic II FPU card, or a standard PLCC chip? The Classic II has a proprietary 50 pin slot that takes an FPU card especially designed for the Classic II. It will not take a standard PLCC chip unlike most Macs.
