LC PDS network card query
Posted by: beachycove on 2008-02-17 18:36:45
I have a DCA branded lcpds network card here, with 10-B and BNC connectors, and cannot for the life of me find information on the card or (more importantly) a driver for it. I want it for a nice little LCIII that I have lying around languishing — or conversely, I want the LCIII for the ethernet and for the card that is lying around languishing (tick one).

MacDriver Museum has been no use, nor has my googling turned up a driver. Presently, the card is not recognized by the system in the relevant Control Panel. Standard Apple networking software is present in the system (7 Pro).

Any ideas out there? Could it be dead, or is it merely asleep?

A lot of these cards work with the standard Apple driver. "Apple Ethernet LC" extension or the like. Make sure that extension is there.

If you upgrade to System 7.5 or later, support should be built in. Other than than that, IIRC you need the "Network Software Installer" from here:
