| 10.3 and 10.4 Retail Boxed! (CD version) |
Posted by: coius on 2008-01-24 22:35:03 I got 10.3 and 10.4 (CD version 😀 ) boxed!!!
My friend which is a mac-head upgraded to a Intel Mac after his G4 1.42Ghz PowerMac died. I got his software and he parted out the RAM and the other stuff. Sadly, by the time I found this out, he had already parted out the machine. But he had gotten the CD Version of 10.4!! right from Apple when he ordered it!!!
It's nice, but too bad it's the CD Version (although I *should* consider myself lucky on this) because it takes FOREVER to load 🙁
Oh well, it's free, so I guess it's great!!!
Anyways, the 10.3 and 10.4 are Retail Boxes but are in a bit of a beat-up shape. He stacked a bunch of stuff on top of them (his guitar and other stuff) and he kinda neglected them. Also, the CDs have a few scratches but nothing a SkipDr. wouldn't take out 😉
Anyways, Great score, huh?

Posted by: coius on 2008-01-24 22:48:15 Anyways...
Just installed 10.3 on the eMac. Gonna install 10.4 on the second partition 😉
Might try 10.5 on an external 😛 I don't want to invest the time and have to re-setup the drives again to get 10.5 on it. Plus I only got an 80GB Harddrive in this sucker and 2 partitions with my data is already pushing it :-/
