Original Lisa (w/ Twiggy!) on the 'Bay.

Doesn't power up, though.

I'm not the seller, and can't even come close to affording the eventual selling price, but just bringing it up in case someone's been saving up for one.

Other than the corrosion, the rest of it looks to be in immaculate shape. If you have a functional Lisa 2, this would be a heck of a score to 'restore' your Lisa 2 into a Lisa 1.

Found via The Vintage Computer Forums.

it will probably catch the price of a macbook ... [:I] ]'>

I expect it will easily surpass the price of a MacBook. A Lisa 1 is a whole different kettle of fish than the relatively common Lisa 2...

Edit: the "corrosion" issue may have an impact though - a pity it was stored poorly

I saw a working Lisa 1 go for $20,000 many years ago.

If it stopped at $100 I'd take it, working or not. It would look good on my bookcase.

Knowing me if I started tinkering with it, it'd explode. :🙂

Holly crap. It's over, not a single bid! Damn, I should have bid on it after all! Although at $145 for shipping, the minimum bid plus shipping would have pushed it over my antique computer budget for the month.

"The seller ended this listing early because of an error in the minimum bid or reserve amount."

i.e., someone emailed him a decent offer and he took it
