| Using an Imagewriter II cable as an null modem cable? |
Posted by: sega dude on 2015-01-28 09:28:30 I have been searching for a Mini DIN 8 to DB9 cable to use as a null modem cable from my Macintosh Plus. Would an Imagewriter II 590-0332-b cable work for this? Do I need a null modem adaptor? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I use them all the time between real Macs and DB9 serial ports (for consoles) and with Keyspan USA-28x USB to dual mini DIN-8 serial port adapters.

could a 128k mac share files directly with a modern mac running Leopard?
I thought leopard was the last os to support apple talk.
just trying to figure out the limitations.
