| Posted by: coius on 2008-01-18 02:51:40 iPhoto only came with OS X. iDVD came with OS X 😛
That answer your question?
EDIT: only on 10.3 was iPhoto coming with the retail install. Otherwise, it was a seperate package. Mainly as on a computer like an iBook that had OS X, it was installed through the installer CDs with the machine. Other than that, it's iLife, Sorry bud :-/
| Posted by: Anonymous Freak on 2008-01-18 11:57:37 iPhoto is OS X-only. It came out when 10.1 was the current version, and was never back-ported to OS 9.
iDVD, on the other hand, was available for OS 9, as the first SuperDrive machine came out with the January 2001 Power Mac G4 (Digital Audio), which was before OS X was released. (OS X 10.0 was released in March 2001, and didn't get DVD burning until 10.1 was released in September 2001. The first version of iDVD for OS X was iDVD 2, which required 10.1.

One note, iDVD 1 (the OS 9 version,) will only run on a Mac with an Apple-shipped SuperDrive. It does *NOT* support third-party DVD-R drives at all.
