Another Thrift Store Conquest!

I was in Ottawa to visit my relatives and we stopped by Value Village, the first part of the store I went to was the computer section. Holy Crap. They had so many cool things there (Much more than the one in Sudbury). I picked up a black DVD/ CD-RW combo drive for $7.99. A Logitech webcam for $4.99. Then I saw they actually have 3 computers there for $9.99, I picked up the most loaded one and my mother said I had to part it out because the car would be loaded when we go home on the 5 hour trip home. I got many good parts out of it: ATI Rage Pro with a memory upgrade, Sound Blaster AWE64 Gold, and a modem. I can't get the sound card working in my computer. The computer sees it and I can change it to the playback mixer but nothing come out of my speakers (Though sound comes out of the speakers when I plug it into the integrated sound). Anyone have a driver or a link to a driver for one of these puppies?

Our thrift stores suck. Never anything good.

Nevermind. Apparently we have a Value Village in Houston, and they had a IIsi!

I saw a 20" Graphite CRT Studio Display at my local Salvation Army thrift store. $30 bucks for it..... They have loads of VCR's and tape decks at mine.

I got my VCR for $2 from the Goodwill Clearance center. It's perfect since I only have a few old tapes I want to see.
