Posted by: juan123 on 2007-12-06 14:05:50
I'm wondering, right now I have an iBook G4 with tiger, 768mb RAM, a 5400rpm 80gb hd and its the 1.07ghz model. I'm wondering, what are some ways other than more ram, to make this computer faster ?? Thanks for any help!!

Get a 7200RPM hard drive.

It will be like night and day.

Try running ShadowKiller, it seems to get rid of window shadows and so use less resources.
