| Connectix Speed Doubler and RAM Doubler |
Posted by: MacSE/30 on 2007-12-06 13:30:44 Hi,
I have back up copies of old versions of SD and RD when I try to install them installers insist to be run from master disk. I cannot find my originals. Is there a known workaround for this :?:

Posted by: MacMan on 2007-12-06 16:06:41 The disk name for RAM Doubler is simply "RAM Doubler" . The Speed Doubler one is almost certainly just "Speed Doubler" . Admittedly my RAM Doubler installer is 1.6.2 so it may be older and more basic than yours.
If this doesn't work try duplicating the disks and running the duplicates. Might make a difference.

Posted by: Kallikak on 2007-12-06 16:11:04 There's an invisible file required as well. I hacked the installers for the various versions I have so they can run from a hard disk.

What is this invisible file?
Any help greatly appreciated.
