SCSI ZIP drive and 2 100mb disks.

I like how fast it is. Good way to move files from mac to mac.

They're great.

It's also good if you like having a silent Mac.

Well, the Mac itself might be silent, but the ZIP drive will make a pretty decent racket.

Zip drives are especially useful for transferring large files and apps between Macs. My G4 has one built in which makes it a doddle to get stuff to and from my 68K machines which have the SCSI Zip drive.

Best bit is that no-one really uses Zip any more so you can often get the disks for next to nothing.

I have a SCSI Zip 100 that I've had since 1996. Still functions flawlessly.

I would love to have a USB Zip 250 drive. That would be great. Unless theres a SCSI version, then i'd want both.

I also like having internal zip drives on my machine. Someday I'll pick up some internal drives for my 8500 and BeigeG3.

There was a SCSI Zip 250. I know because I had one. Got it in December 1999. It was very good to me up until August 2001 when it went silent click. Then i saw the light and got a CD burner. Never had, or trusted another ZIP POS since :-/
