Journeyman Project Turbo

So today I was out shopping with Mum, and we decided to check out the RSPCA Thrift Store. Anyway, when I was in the section where they keep CDs and videos and stuff, i came across a CD called "Journeyman Project Turbo". Hybrid CD. 2 bucks. Score. 🙂

From what i've heard, the Journeyman Project series are supposed to be good games, so it'll be interesting to see...i've never played any of them before...i'll probably fire up my gaming rig tomorrow and have a crack at it 🙂

I totally remember that game! We got it on a demo CD with our Packard Bell back in '95. It's really cool, but nobody could ever figure out what to do after a certain point, so it really never got played much and I spent most of my time in NFS2 after that. Games from the '90s rule. I totally have to buy a copy of "I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream" for my Macs. That game is freaky-weird. Now I think I'll fire up my 540c for a little SC2k action, maybe run Duke Nukem 3D on my Kanga, Decent on my Performa 5420... who needs 768MB of vram on a GeForce card for HL2, when you've got a good 540c with a Chips graphics controller and 512k of dedicated VRAM for Oregon Trail?

I have Journeyman Project III: Legacy of Time. It was a good game and I have been looking for the other ones. Never did find any yet. Good score!

Just an update, i fired up my gaming rig (the LC475) today, put the CD in to play...anyway, it turns out that despite what the booklet says, its not a Hybrid CD, its Windows only...oh well, i'll just have to wait until i get the other gaming rig up and running (needs a Win 95 install) 🙂
