| Posted by: equill on 2007-10-15 03:07:48 An impressive haul, both metaphorically and literally. Now, you will take care to leave some walkway between your bed and the door to your warehouse, won't you? We don't wish to read the screaming newspaper headline MAN FOUND DROWNED IN A SEA OF MACS, or the like.

Anyone who comes will get my collection of cables and
adapters from that era too. eg scsi cables, apple serial cables I think
I had some apple networking stuff? I always used to grab anything that
looked interesting but now I want it all out! | Posted by: Bunsen on 2007-10-15 05:22:30 OK for this guy you need to PM me and I'll pass your details on to him.

a Power PC 7300/180 and a Performa 580CD. The Power PC has 256MB of RAM, USB card, and a keyboard and mouse. The performa I honestly don't know.
I still have the machines and would like them to go. Would prefer that they were kept in a working order, but that's up to the final recipient. If you could pass on some names, then am happy to arrange a pickup time. I'm in Balwyn North, not far from the Eastern Fwy.

I have an old Macintosh IIvi,
which is complete, and working. That is to say, it lights up, and the
'Finder face' icon blinks on the screen. | Posted by: Bunsen on 2007-10-16 02:40:33

Subject: Mac Stuff
Here is what I have left:
1. PowerPC Power Macintosh G3--160MB RAM, 4GB HD, 266Ghz, OS 9.2
2. PowerPC Power Macintosh 7200/120, I think it has OS 8.6
3. PowerPC Power Macintosh 7500/100, also perhaps with 8.6
4. SCSI External CD Burner (don't know if its functional)
5. Apple 14" CRT
6. Apple 15" CRT
By all means, if anyone else is interested in these, then please pass on my details.
We are located in Collingwood and you can come by and pick up the items anytime between 10AM-6PM, Monday-Friday.
Thanks,
Neil | Posted by: Bunsen on 2007-10-16 02:42:21 Just to be clear, if you want any of the above stuff, the people have OK'd me to list their details here so you can contact them directly. Stick a note in here if you pick them up.
Except for the 7300/180 and Performa 580CD - you need to PM me and I'll pass your details on to him.
| Posted by: Bunsen on 2007-10-17 02:40:15 Tested the 5500 tonight. All works, including the TV Tuner (apparently, although all I get is snow without an antenna attached). 9.1, 64MB, 2GB.
And it has that helicopter taking off fan sound those models were prone to.
