My powerbook 1400 screen died. Gigantic black blob all over the screen.
I wont part it. I will let it rest in its box until it gets a new screen.
So let us morn the loss of a comrade. Downed in the war aginsed ballmer.

I'm sorry 🙁 The good news though is that 1400's are pretty cheap on eBay, so you could get another one, (and possibly upgrade, by getting one with a better screen, faster CPU, extra RAM or a useful interface card installed!) and keep your old one for parts.
