| G5 Video Question |
Posted by: Temetka on 2007-09-22 19:59:46 OK so I have an Nvidia FX520 64MB AGP card. I would likt to retain the ADC connector. So what new cards are available in the $150 range tat have 128MB or VRAM and support ADC.
Thanks.

or you can find a video card and flash it from a PC to Mac firmware. sometimes you can do this allot cheaper than buying a Mac version video card.
it just depends on what you want to do

Posted by: Temetka on 2007-09-23 22:25:04 I would like to avoid buying a $100 ADC to DVI adapter if I could.
I have been seeing a veritable but-load of 22" cinema displays on my local mac hunting sites for less then $200. Therefore I need a modern GPU with ADC.
Looks like I am stuck with the 64MB FX5200 in the G5 right now.
To be honest though, the G5 is the fastest Mac I haver ever owned and I am still in the 'whoah this thing is fast' stage.
