I have a MessagePad 2000 I need to actually get using first though. I’ve never seen a 2000/2100 in the flesh! Would love to get one one day!
Note it does 1080p, so a good fit for modernish LCDs I seldom use LCDs with my vintage stuff.. I try to keep to period specific displays! That said this card works well with my 21” Apple CRT! |

I'll bring it along to the meetup. 🙂 Awesome!
Oh I was gonna ask.. I still have that LWII if you want me to bring it along? If not don’t worry, don’t wanna force it on you.. just seemed like the ideal time if you did want it! |

View attachment 69204 Well done. Time to get a Mac TV next. And a G4 Cube 😅 |
Posted by: Durosity on 2024-02-04 01:36:26 Well I already have a cube.. 😅
Mac TV is a difficult one.. it was a miracle being able to get the LC 520.. I expect any Mac TV would become a surprise jigsaw puzzle in shipping.
Maybe I could paint my 520? 😂 |
Posted by: cheesestraws on 2024-02-04 02:21:04 welcome to the Ambitious Cock-up Collector's Club! Next up, a Lisa... ;-) |
Posted by: Durosity on 2024-02-04 03:00:39 I’d love a Lisa. One day.. one day. |
Posted by: Durosity on 2024-02-06 15:12:51 Not a Lisa, but I did get a nice wee surprise today. Bought a rough looking Se and SE/30 a couple of weeks ago. I wasn’t entirely sure if they worked or not, or if it was even an SE/30 as the bucket seemed to be that of a SE. Well got them unpacked today and wow they’re dirty.. but beautifully working (the PSU on the SE is a bit dodgy but should be a fairly easy fix). The SE/30 was indeed a working, non battery bombed unit, and the SE had a PDS network card in it! SCORE! |
Posted by: cheesestraws on 2024-02-06 15:16:26 Nice one! |

Nice one! I really have to stop buying stuff.. I literally have nowhere to store stuff at present! |
Posted by: cheesestraws on 2024-02-06 15:31:06 I recommend taking up software projects; they're rather smaller ;-) |
Posted by: Durosity on 2024-02-06 16:09:03 You’re saying I should start collecting big box software? Excellent idea…….. 😂 |
Posted by: olePigeon on 2024-02-08 12:16:21 @Durosity You can have your cake and eat it too if you collapse the boxes and store them flat. |

I know it’s from the Apple IIgs but I always wanted one of these OG ADB keyboards.. it looks so funky! It’s also quite nice to type on! |

And yet the Molar G3 looks so sad 😭 ! Alas it’s a bit of a headache project. Something is stopping the CRT side of things from working and I’ve got exceptionally little knowledge of analogue boards and power supplies, so tracking down the fault has been.. slow. Especially as I can’t even narrow it down to the PSU, Analogue, or Neck board. |

Posted by: Durosity on 2024-08-27 15:40:30 Yep! I’m still hopeful I’ll be able to figure it out. It’ll be an interesting one to bring to a future meet up should we ever have one again! |
