When I get to the installation program I try to install but I get this error message: View attachment 28144 Anyone know what the error means? | |

| Posted by: MacintoshMan1999 on 2019-06-01 11:28:36 Perfect... The HD decided to not work on me, so now I'm diagnosing the HD. Whenever I attempted to format it, it's seems to be doing fine up until the "Verifying Format" part. When it tries to "Verify" it makes some pretty nasty noises. When it got to that point I called it a night and went to sleep, when I woke up and tried again it couldn't find the drive, and the icing to the cake is the Ehman enclosure decided to break on me. what I mean by "Break" is that the 50-Pin Connector decided to pop off leaving the ribbon exposed, so as I am writing this I'm super gluing it together... I guess on the bright side I've got my Floppy Emu. | |

The 50-pin connector fell off the ribbon, so i decided to super glue it back on, but when it dried guess what? the key was on the wrong side so I'm now replacing it and the ribbon.  The reason I'm going to replace it is that the ribbon is for some reason in individual pieces. For flexibility perhaps?  I'd assume another 50 would do. I'd also like to know what is the difference between a pass through and a non-pass through terminator is. Do they terminate the same or do they have a difference? Thanks in advance, -Jack | |
