This is my 630 also π
Itβs lacking a front plate but is otherwise finished. Running the HD of an industrial CF card. And has an Ethernet card.

WOW! Just WOW! That is an incredible cool machine!! |
Posted by: olePigeon on 2025-10-06 12:56:12 If anyone is wondering, the screws for the top metal cover are quick release screws. Just a 1/2 turn and they pop up. Makes it easy to take off. The video card marked "bad" is actually good, it was repaired before being put back in. The repair is on the backside of the card. Likewise with the blown capacitor. I replaced that one myself.
The motherboard is otherwise a stock IIfx motherboard. The power supply is a bit different. Has that nifty large master switch on it. |
Posted by: Jockelill on 2025-10-06 12:58:20 Do you have some pictures of the rear of it? Just curious how they did with the Nubus slots huven they are reversed with PCI. |
Posted by: olePigeon on 2025-10-06 13:45:02 @Jockelill No additional pictures of the rear at the moment, but you can get the idea in the 1st picture. It's essentially just a metal version of the IIfx rear. |

Yes! I'd forgotten about this but how nice to see it again. Worth it even if just for the enormously overengineered power switch in pic 5 if anyone is wondering. |
