Posted by: heebiejeebies on 2007-05-07 21:56:17 Perhaps next time you'll think twice before calling the honour and integrity of my hairpiece into question. The Scarlet Tuxedo does not suffer such outrages lightly, no he does not! Be thankful my toupee did not challenge you to a duel at 30 paces with swords. Now, away with you evil-doer! Giddy-up, Penelope! I said GIDDY UP!
Stupid giraffe....

Your own I presume? My hat off to you. As a tribute to your guts, I shall now unveil my own glorious visage for all and sundry to see:
http://www.guenter-noris.de/seiten/Bilder/index1.jpg For some reason I tend to not believe you... Go on, don't be shy, show us what you really look like! π

Posted by: CaryMG on 2007-05-08 12:05:35 I thought maybe you could have a medium avatar with the rank insignia underneath the avatar
like "AppleFritter" used ta do with the rainbow apples underneath your avatar.

Posted by: heebiejeebies on 2007-05-08 19:17:57 By the way Macster, I think in a former life we were discussing why you were a cup of Russian Caravan tea or something. Did you ever get my reply?

I will when you do, mate!! π Aw go on, I'm sure you're not all shy like I am! π You should put a picture of yourself up on your Facebook account (which I see from the 68k page that you have!), if nowhere else - no-one wants that boring question mark as their picture! π
By the way Macster, I think in a former life we were discussing why you were a cup of Russian Caravan tea or something. Did you ever get my reply? Ah yes, weren't you saying that you could tell what sort of tea a person would drink from their character? Is there really a tea called "Russian Caravan!?! 8-o

Thatβs OK β I like shy people. I wish youβd have a bit more self-belief though. Yeah I was originally going to condescend to grace the facebook with my glorious countenance π but if I did that Iβd have nothing to bargain with, would I? π So if you ever change your mind (for example, on the day I go snowboarding in hell, Iβd imagine) then let me know!
Ah yes, weren't you saying that you could tell what sort of tea a person would drink from their character? Is there really a tea called "Russian Caravan!?! 8-o Gee wiz, I canβt remember what I was babbling about now. You asked me why Iβd drawn my conclusion I think. Canβt remember what I said now. Probably just some garbage I made up off the top of my head, like all of my posts.
And yes, Russian Caravan is one of the finest of all teas. A blend of fine China teas with a very dark, earthy flavour. It was the tea favoured by the Russian aristocracy and was transported there by camel caravan. As much as I hate everything about this corrupt, lousy God-forsaken period of history, I confess that being able to drink the tea that was reserved for the Russian aristocracy (or a similar imitation, anyway) is quite a unique privilege. So at least with regards to tea we are much luckier than those peasants of the Middle Ages who had to be content with their weak cups of Tesco tea-bag tea.

Yeah, I am too shy really, in reality as well as on here :-/ I think you don't want to show your face really, and you're only saying you will if I do because you know I won't! π
Probably just some garbage I made up off the top of my head, like all of my posts. Nah, I don't think you talk garbage at all - I like reading your posts actually π

Yeah, I am too shy really, in reality as well as on here :-/ Most people talk too much anyway. Shyness is a welcome change. π
I think you don't want to show your face really, and you're only saying you will if I do because you know I won't! π Mate, I wrote the book on reverse psychology!! [8D]
Well I'll take it as a compliment if I am Russian Caravan then π Oh absolutely. If I ever call you a stupid little Darjeeling, that will be another matter. π

Posted by: Temetka on 2007-05-23 19:20:29 I like my avatar, however I do think some form of rank insignia is in order to go along with the whole 'Army" thing.

Posted by: dualdflipflop on 2007-05-23 23:16:53 Thank goodness for no images on signatures... That's the ridiculous stuff there. All those forums with two lines of text in a post, and half a screen for some repetitive image. Which always sucks.
I voted none at all, but only because I like text only forums (call me old fashion). The only benefit to having avatars is recognizing a person by their "face" rather than name.

I use the Firefox browser, and the adblock plugin is awesome. It can be used to remove annoying avatars in signatures as well as ads!
