and we found out that my laptop is not mine to control 8-o What? :?:
oh, somebody (i'm sorry i don't remember lawl 😛 :I ) mentioned that the forums going down was all Alk's fault and at the exact same time my iTunes crashed.
he said it again and i un-plugged my network connection for a few mins to give the perception that the power of Alk had crashed my whole computer.
it was funny at the time because i was bored.

GOD, bloody windows user... Everything needs to be explained... I guess I should ask you this question that has been on my mind since I discovered this place - what exactly is this MAC thing that seems to be talked about all the time here? I've heard of this "O. S. X." thingy as well - am I right in thinking it's a really cool skin for Windows XP that gives you a menu along the top of the screen and replaces the taskbar with a bar of iocns that bounce up and down when you click on them? And what is that thing up in the top left corner of this site? It's very similar colours to the Windows logo, but it's in a really strange shape, as if it's meant to be a piece of fruit or something like that?

Oh man, I was going nuts without you guys! I've been working on getting my Color Classic online, and while the folks over at AppeFritter were very helpful and gracious, the 68kMLA will always be my home...

All searches for "68kMLA" or "68k Macintosh Liberation Army" now go to the PPCMLA or a few other AF, etc threads.
They stole our Google Rankings! :/
I have instructed the Googlebot to reindex the forums though, so with some luck we'll have the forums back on the search fairly soon.

That being said, I'm glad we're back, even if in a less than perfect state. Also, I'd like to thank everyone for their patience, I got quite a number of emails and IMs during the outage and if nothing else it sure is good to know how passionate we all are about this little forum!
