Funny thing though, I thought at first it was a real PowerMac 5x00, except the bezel around the "screen" seemed way too big and the keyboard and mouse looked funny (they could've been aftermarket, though). And that's the original Macintosh! It's even edible ;D That's also a good find re: the keyboard. I got a similar one, at a similar price, at a similar place about 6 years ago. It's still in my closet, unused, since I find wired keyboards to be more reliable (I really do like the looks of those older keyboards, though, and I'd probably use a wired one instead of the thin aluminum one that was stock with my Mac Pro, if I ever came across a good example at a decent price). c | |

| Posted by: rsolberg on 2017-01-14 18:10:14 The (one? only?) good thing with the mini VGA port was that it also supported S-Video and composite video with a dongle, unlike a standard VGA port. It was far nicer than dealing with an external VGA to NTSC scaler/converter, and it meant that every consumer grade Mac laptop or desktop had AV out at the time. | |

| Posted by: Carboy7 on 2017-01-15 15:12:13 So today, I went to an amazing dude's house. I got a Mac LC II, SPARCstation 5, and the BIG A$$ Sun 21" CRT monitor! All for the low price of $0.00. 😀 And I bought a NIB network card for the LC for $20. Really good deal. Thanks SO MUCH, Trash80toHP_Mini! 😀 I even got to see his current projects in person, PowerBook 1400 stack, Drexel Mac, Radius stuff, Blueberry Fields, etc etc. And then, I tried to install an OS my convenient Quicksilver hard drive. And then, techfury90 showed up and we all "partied" and tried to get that OS to work. It didn't. But it was still fun.   | |
