Used three little coin cells reuse the box and connector

Nice. Just wanted to make sure you didn't go with alkaline AAAs like i've seen some do. My TV remote can attest to the leak-prone nature of those things. Darn AAAs leaked before they even stopped working...

Thanks, yes exploding batteries make me sad. With leaking caps, batteries, recycling and age fewer and fewer old computers and game consoles will be around in the future. That said I need to recap my turbo duo ASAP.

yeah that's just how it goes... at least half of all the models of laptops in the 90s, if not closer to 70/80% will be good at dead 10 years from now, they've all got internal VARTA batteries like old 2/3/486 desktop boards did. but of course the laptops kept using them until the early 2000s in some cases...

Bought a few more items via fromJapan another Quadra 700 only exterior photo so I got it for a good price around 120 before shipping it ended up being pack with goodies. Maxed vram and memory plus an Apple PPC upgrade card. Also bought a Quadra 650 for roughly the same price because it had the same PPC upgrade that one has a bad power supply. Picked up a boxed complete DOS compatibility card for the 6100. To support all this equipment setup a second desk in my home office dedicated to classic Macs and for my soldering station
