Vonfeffer That is for ATAPI devices (optical drives) not hard drives.

Which will be a better solution depends heavily on what you're doing.
The three people actually capturing video or doing continuous software compiling on an x100 Power Mac might benefit from this kind of adapter, just because SD cards have longevity and performance issues in some write-heavy scenarios. It would, of course, need to be paired with an appropriate SCSI adapter or a card for this kind of adapter.

Rgds Let me know since I have 4 or 5 of them NIB. I used one in a Q950 to test a DVD drive in it, worked from what I recall.

Posted by: Trash80toHP_Mini on 2019-09-10 22:34:17 Very interesting, found new IBM ACARD adapters like that in the $35 range. I've already got a couple of Laptop Optical connector to 40-pin IDE/MOLEX adapters, LVDS to 50-pin SCSI adapters and a couple of old iBook CDs. String that mess together and I could put a slotloader CD in a SCSI limited Mac?
