Posted by: ~Coxy on 2007-10-12 00:40:38 I definitely still have my 68Ks around, and my brother still uses two LocalTalk laser printers (it makes sense thinking about it, but it was kinda cool having the Ethernet bridge drive a proper bus network of printers instead of just one).

Posted by: aftermac on 2007-10-16 17:30:40 Is it just me, or did you guys not have stars next to your names a few days ago? :?:

Posted by: Patrickool93 on 2007-10-16 19:20:38 Coxy- I figure I mention this here because you've already posted in this topic. I was just on InterfaceLIFT.com and found 68kmla Icons Vol.2 made by you. Do you happen to have Vol. 1 or the mentioned Vol 3?

Is it just me, or did you guys not have stars next to your names a few days ago? :?: Just something I've been playing about with. It might stay, it might not. I haven't really decided yet. [π±)] ]'>

Posted by: ~Coxy on 2007-10-17 07:00:50 Much like "68k of the Week: kastegir's PowerBook 180", here's another blast from the past!
Coxy- I figure I mention this here because you've already posted in this topic. I was just on InterfaceLIFT.com and found 68kmla Icons Vol.2 made by you. Do you happen to have Vol. 1 or the mentioned Vol 3? Way back to 2002! I don't think I ever finished off Vol 3, as I said back in the day I was kinda rueing the PowerBooks since they've each got individual keyboards with 50ish keys.

Now Vol 1 isn't great and has long since vanished from the internets, but I will endeavour to upload it once again for your (non)enjoyment!

Posted by: Cory5412 on 2007-10-17 09:24:18 Oh man, I was always so jealous of kastegir and that PowerBook 180.

Posted by: funkytoad on 2007-10-17 12:55:35 Is there anyway to get those icons for the PC?

Posted by: ~Coxy on 2007-10-17 17:35:53 http://coxy.ucc.asn.au/68kMLA%20Icons%20-%20Vol.%201.zip - Set #1, not really very good
http://coxy.ucc.asn.au/srr.dmg Another icon set (5MB because the DMG isn't compressed) that's also not that good - the best icon is probably a 128x128 colour version of the classic Read Me icon and that isn't even part of the set!

Posted by: Maskawanian on 2007-10-21 18:02:39 <-- Catsdorule.
While not original I was there from practically the start.
Moved on to bigger and better things really. I can afford new computers now. Don't find hacking old computers as fun as it used to be.

[π±)] ]'> seems im the only one who doesn tknow what those stars are about At the moment, Gold == Administrator and Silver == Moderator. On the old forums they were used as a rank image and you had a different number/colour depending on the number of posts you had. You can see what I mean on the memberlist of the old forums:

oh i seeany plans of bringing that back ? Not currently, since we don't display a members postcount beside the posts then having a rank is a bit pointless. It's why we don't have the army ranks any more either.
