| Replacement Gear for Floppy Eject mechanism! |

No problem. I can tell you that if it was a known standard size, I would much rather pay the $0.25 each from China myself. I bought several from AliExpress to no avail.
If you do find a replacement that's a win for everyone. You'd think I'm making a killing with the gears, but in reality not the case. The printing method requires ultra fine detail that only a few machines can achieve. And it's expensive. But the result is a perfectly matched strong gear.

You need one, but don't you have the original, or if that's too badly damaged, one you can take from another drive and measure? Sure, he has the dimensions, but you should be able to get those measurements yourself, no?

Done and done. My estimate of the hub was correct and my estimate of the pinion was 1mm. Thanks for pointing out the error of me wanting this information disclosed publicly paralel.

The set of four was same gear... I have a set of four on eBay now if interested on discount per unit.

Hi there, just wanted to check as i gave a se/30 which ejects just doesnt seat/ slot back in well, would these gears help?

I tried my other SE/30 yesterday and the floppy/hd bracket was not aligned properly and the floppy hit the bezel, it was stuck. I took it out and now it doesn't sit correctly like SE30_Neal but most worryingly it doesn't work at all now. The gear might be the problem, it maybe isn't tho.
Anyway, what I want to know is: Does the gear work for 2M Sony Drives (as suggested by Uniserver) or only 400k/800k drives?

The gear fits all early Sony floppy models with auto-inject. But best to open up and look at the gears. If you have 4 gears in the eject mechanism (all different size) then this replacement gear will work to replace the smallest one. It is the one that usually crumbles.
