How tiny are they? It'd be slick to point a pair out either side of my G3 build. Internal stereo from a connection hacked onto the solder points of the connectors on the personality card sounds appealing.

The speakers are about 1"x3"x1" so, easy to fit nearly anywhere. they are NOT shielded, so you have to keep that in mind in your builds.

For folks in the Bay Area, I was at WeirdStuff Warehouse this past Sunday and near the entrance of the store, on a shelf they had four new-in-opened-box Miracle MT209A 9" monochrome SVGA CRTs for sale. $50 each. I picked one up for myself but they might still have some left, if you're interested in taking on a similar project to the OP... 🙂
