Simasimac Not Going Away After ReCap on SE/30

Did you try removing the ROM SIMM, cleaning it, and reinserting?  Otherwise, look at the F253 labling on the PCB near the ROM SIMM. it looks orange and corroded. Those are critical traces, any of those broken it wont chime or boot. and you will get what your seeing.

Posted by: belgaonkar on 2017-04-19 16:20:07 Cleaned the ROM, and tried it with another known working chip. Also noticed there is a deep scratch near UK12/ADB. Do you have a repair service? I am a novice at this (and compact macs) and would totally pay to have it fixed by a pro 🙂
