| Radeon X1900XT reliable? |

It's mostly just the navigating the forums and such where the magical firmware bundles and binaries are hidden. I know *why* they can't really make it too *easy* to find this stuff, since technically copying these hacked firmware bundles pretty easily qualifies as piracy, but... eh. I'll chalk my difficulties down to "insufficient motivation". I find that I have insufficient motivation if I must download a hacked card firmware, research whether it is reliable, find a PC of the proper era in which to flash it, etc.
If I can just download the original firmware for the Mac version, burn it to a chip of the proper capacity (so no "reduced" firmware necessary) and solder it down on a cheap video card, that does not trouble me.

Posted by: Unknown_K on 2014-11-24 21:34:32 Well I decided to order a 7800 GT (PC version and flash it). The card came in today (MSI version if that matters) and I verified it works fine in a PC. The macelite wiki has the PPC ROM for the OEM 7800 GT which I plan to use.

Is this what you need?

I tried using the ATI utility to flash the X1900XT into a PPC X1900GT but the utility didn't see the card, must be DEAD.
