new case styles for Floppy Emu

Thanks everyone for the feedback on the new case styles. I've continued to experiment with the Snow White case concept, and after two months I have something I'm pretty happy with. It's constructed from the same matte white acrylic that I used in the last prototype, which is about as close to vintage Apple coloring as I can get. But instead of engraving the case lines and other details, they're now cut-outs that go all the way through. Take a look at these photos.

With this prototype, I also tweaked the button plunger size very slightly, which should help give the buttons a tighter feel.

What do you think about the single grooves on the lower part of the sides? Good or bad? I was trying to echo the design of the top plate's lines, but I'm not sure if plain solid sides would be better.

Yeah I really like it but I am not a big fan of the Snow White

I quite like the most recent iteration of the case, BMOW. Personally, I'd leave the groove cut-out on the side, as I think it ties in nicely with the design of the top. Looking forward to getting one of these for one of my two Floppy Emus. =)
