16-bit!!!! 😆
None of the style of 256 colours, all of the issues of not been millions of colours. 16bit is the nowhere-land between a stylistic choice and good quality.
😆

But if you /want/ banding in your graphics, you're welcome I guess 🤣

I don't know. But I know it's what all the console manufacturers were striving for first!

That was the data bus rather than the colour palette 😉

Hi @wthww !
I have sometimes a little bug when accessing wiki from the forum.
I'm getting access to the wiki without OAuth "login" page thus without OAuth token

Here is what I get when I clicked on the link to review Capacitor Replacement page.
If I refresh the page (i.e. by pressing F5), that's ok then.

Also need to figure out the wiki logo situation. I don't love the DokuWiki logo 😀, but the old wiki logo is made for the sidebar layout common to old MediaWiki.
Maybe we should open a new topic for logo suggestions ? (here are mistralAI generated logos I "did" to test it for this purpose)

This is the session timing out on the Wiki side.

This sent me into the rabbit hole of looking at how XenForo handles session length and expiry and I'm sad to say they don't expose the values to admins in a sane way. Essentially XenForo checks if you've been active within the last hour to extend your session unless you tick the remember me box, after which you're signed in for 30 days.

The wiki software by default only lets you stay logged in for 15 minutes which is just silly. I've extended it to 30 days on the wiki side just to be safe. I won't claim this is the elegant solution, but it is the 00:10 solution (every ops engineer in the crowd cheers).

This may happen again until you logout of the wiki and then back into to get a new cookie...

Thanks for bringing this up @zefrenchtoon!

On one machine I logged in with no problems yesterday. Today I had to log in twice for it to actually stick.
