Posted by: David Cook on 2026-02-19 09:27:37 Can you post a high resolution image of that area? Also, have you tried cleaning it with isopropyl alcohol and a toothbrush (and then letting it dry).
Posted by: Aeroform on 2026-02-21 11:03:52 Visually all vias look good, except maybe for the one connected to pin 1 of Q23, but that one measures good. I've been prodding around some without finding anything. Area has been through a vinegar, distilled water bath followed by a IPA scrub and a dry / bake run in the oven. However, In checking resistance across the contrast curcuit, I came across something that feels off. Could you @David Cook perhaps help me out in measuring the resistance between R36 and the leg of the capacitor right next to it? I'm getting 2k Ohm here which makes me think I fudged something up while I recapped.

It's all put back together and they are such a pain to disassemble. If I have reason to open one, I'll check for you. That being said, measuring in circuit values is difficult as there are so many paths it could be including.
