I think is exactly the same unit, even the trackpad is pretty close (pretty sure the same with a different clic button)

The screen, i have already swapped one from a 3400, very close, the connector is not at the same place, but does fit without issue.

Yes, it is. Have swapped like 4. 190/5300/3400/1st-G3. You have to fold the cable just like the keyboard that came from the TAM board

It's been awhile since I owned one, but if the speaker grilles can be easily removed, a soak in warm water + dish or laundry soap ought to be safe. I recently restored a Cambridge Soundworks clock radio with similar grille fabric, and this approach worked wonders.
This actually did the trick. Soaked them in a bathtub with water and carpet cleaning solution then air dried. Like new!

Hey all… I got my recapped boards back and she’s up and running. Only problem now if the CD ROM is not reading at all. So I am going to take my chances with a disassembly of it from the front bezel, look at it all (it’s sticky to the touch so who knows what odd substance is in there) look at replacing some capacitors (they arent SMD so I should be able to do those). Give it a good clean. Have a backup CD600i on hand just in case. I’ll post an update soon.

For what it is worth, Amiga of Rochester did an AMAZING job with recapping my boards. Really really nice guy named Thomas. Highly recommend him.
