It's been awhile since I owned one, but if the speaker grilles can be easily removed, a soak in warm water + dish or laundry soap ought to be safe. I recently restored a Cambridge Soundworks clock radio with similar grille fabric, and this approach worked wonders. This actually did the trick. Soaked them in a bathtub with water and carpet cleaning solution then air dried. Like new! | | < 2 |
