it's also false. firewire sync works fine if you use an industrial CF and rebuild the partitions before attempting a restore. |

Love how "industrial" CF cards don't seem to be better quality parts just have a fixed over removable setting yet charged thrice the amount for them 🙂
Never worked my iPod 5G out over FW, as it works without a hitch; can only presume something up with the controller IC if anyone ever had more to gleam please post. |

However, that said, is it possible to hack normal consumer CF cards to behave as the "industrial" ones do (ie, reporting as "fixed" instead of "removable")?
