| Calling it with SE/30 Simasimac Board |
Posted by: epalamaro on 2023-10-08 19:39:57 This might just be the default state of the VRAM. I replaced one of the 41264s with a Texas Instruments version |
Posted by: epalamaro on 2023-10-08 19:57:02 Oh wow.... what a way to end the weekend. Pin 5 of UE7 to pin A6 of the CPU. Still don't have sound, but a major win for now. Thank you to everyone for the help...

Posted by: dochilli on 2023-10-08 21:45:40 Did you recap the board? Problems with the sound are most often solved after a recap. |
Posted by: epalamaro on 2023-10-08 22:02:07 @bigmessowires Yes, finally. Super happy about it, thanks!
@dochilli Yeah it was recapped a while ago. Through all of this simasimac troubleshooting and testing, I wonder if I fried the speaker. I also did replace chip UA9 in the process. It always had been working, though with crackling. Now its just the crackling.. it'll be a problem for next weekend though haha |
