I know that it's normal, I just wanted to know if I could change it to the pre-7.5 way. Thanks.. I might try it. That's why I suck with 7.1.1 Pro. 🙂  I like the old Welcome to Macintosh screen.

Posted by: LarBob on 2016-07-06 13:28:47 I love the Welcome to Macintosh screen as well. That's why I was asking if there was a way to get it back. It's cool.

Posted by: Paralel on 2016-07-06 16:09:09 It should be possible, as far as how, I have no idea. If you want 7.5 but want the old screen back, you could always run 7.5.0, but I wouldn't recommend it.

Posted by: IPalindromeI on 2016-07-07 01:48:50 Yeah, removing the 7.5 updates is a bad idea. IIRC, just remove the splash screen PICTs (are they PICTs?) from the System file (and maybe the update files?) and it should revert back to that.
