Posted by: Nightphase on 2023-08-02 03:09:13My recent 1400cs acquisiton came with a yo-yo charger in somewhat poor condition. It has suffered from the cable being stressed too much at the base of the plug, a common fault with these, so it seems to provide power but only when the cable is pulled/wiggled a certain way.I have had the exact same problem with mine, and it can be easily fixed. Basically the two power terminals are connected with a little dab of solder, and over time of unplugging and plugging it in it disconnects from the PCB. I just had to resolder the two terminals and it was basically like new again. | |
