I was a cluster consultant in a room full of 6100s and music students would power the machines off, losing their work, all the time trying to eject floppies. and they never did anything to address it? |

and they never did anything to address it? I think on the DOS Compatible models, Apple started putting “on/off” silkscreen next to the power button. |

I think on the DOS Compatible models, Apple started putting “on/off” silkscreen next to the power button. I meant in the classroom, not by Apple themselves |
Posted by: jessenator on 2022-09-26 10:20:58 I don't recall if it was a DOS model, but the only 6100s in my high school's labs had their outer button plastic caps removed, possibly for that reason. I highly doubt it was vandalism—many other Macs in our school and none of them were so much as markered upon. |
